The Occasion

A Centre of Excellence, Formally Opened

On 23 August 2026, JAMIGO Vocational Training Institute was officially commissioned by Hon. Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo, Minister of Education and Sports (a.i.). The Minister was received at the campus in Kibale Town Council, Pallisa District, was shown around the institute's facilities, and unveiled the commemorative plaque that now stands at the entrance.

The day brought together government officials, local leaders, clergy, staff, students and the surrounding community for a thanksgiving service, speeches and celebration — marking the institute's formal recognition as a centre for vocational training in the Eastern Region.
